living in the chamonix valley in the french Alps since 1999 has provided me with the ideal studio on my doorstep for adrenaline and adventure sports photography.

for variety, either on assignment or from following my own wanderlust, I welcome the challenge of shooting in more exotic corners of the world. Recent locations have included alaska, greenland, iceland, new zealand, south america, russia and kashmir.

an involvement with britain's snowboard uk magazine dating back to 1992 means that snowboard photography plays a large part in my winter. I have held the position of senior photographer with snowboard uk since 1999

more recently I received the coverted 'photo of the year' award from Bike magazine in the USA. This follows a lengthy relationship with mountain biking that now sees me passing increasing amounts of my summer time capturing the soulful side of this sport.
